Street Sports for All

  • The goal of the “Street Sports for All” (SSA) project is to promote direct engagement and integration of refugees and host communities within the EU through the creation of a network and organization of street sport classes.

The project aims to increase the potential for European host communities to successfully engage and integrate refugees through sport by developing SSA training courses, international workshops, and methodology.

  • This project is particularly relevant in light of the increasing number of refugees in Europe, particularly in Lithuania, as a result of war and persecution in various countries. Furthermore, the recent influx of refugees from Belarus to Lithuania due to harsh governmental policies has resulted in the creation of unprecedented refugee tent camps in Pabradė.

The project aims to use the universal language of sports as a means to connect diverse people and promote social inclusion among refugees and host communities.
